Welcome

Picture
All are welcome!  De Novo Homeschool Network & Skye Chase Academy are ministries at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Alexandria, Virginia.  Our homeschool community started in 1999 to support and encourage families who have chosen home education for their children in northern Virginia.  We have a thriving community that welcome families from many faiths and backgrounds.

Membership in De Novo Homeschool Network provides a wide variety of social gatherings, Kennedy Center performances, park days, family potlucks, and monthly field trips.  Our community also supports an all day Friday co-op, Skye Chase Academy (SCA), with a wide variety of elective classes offered by parents and volunteers.

All are welcomed to visit a De Novo or SCA event to determine if our community would be beneficial to their family prior to membership.  You may contact Renee Fornshill at renee@gs-cc.org or Terri Hood at hoodterr@yahoo.com for information on De Novo's upcoming events or for more information about applying for Skye Chase Academy.
